No surprises that Connell's had a rest really, looked knackered when he came off against Wigan!

I wonder why Benson and Kennedy haven't made the bench injury?  Ciobocchi is definitely no left back his delivery is poor, bit of a strange line up but in Di Canio we trust

The Cibocchi foulthrow-o-meter is open for business Smiley

Nothing excuses Cibocchi's inability to throw a ball within the rules on four different occasions but I've seen Davide Santon get away with some iffy efforts at Newcastle. Bloomin' Italians making up there own rules.

I read an interview about Paul Benson made last year by a Daggers fan site when he was at Charlton, and he got the question: What is your least favourite opponent and least favourite ground. The answer was Barnet and Underhill because he never won there and had some injuries there.

So maybe that's the reason why Paul isn't in the squad tonight!

Benson isn't match fit to play 2 games in 4 days according to Gary Rose. Makes sense to keep him fresh for Saturday.

Also makes sense to rest Kennedy and not give De Vita and Connell a full 90 I guess.

Or maybe it's because, having not played regularly for over three months, two games in three days might be a bit much for him just yet?

Di Canio doesn't strike me as superstitious in any way, so the above reason seems a lot more plausible to me.

Radio suggesting that Benson has a minor knock, nothing to worry about but left out of the 16- he did travel and is warming up.

Gives Magera, Gabi and Cibocchi the chance to shine, and for all we know it may be tactical decisions. Connell looks in need of a rest too
