Wouldn't trust anything a Pox fan says to be honest, especially when it comes to Swindon.

They've allocated us a pub have they? That's a first surely.
You haven't seen the pub yet! Wouldn't recommend it as suspect that it is a TVP set up as the street is CCTVd-up and conveniently opposite another pub which is will be full to bursting with (wannabe) heating engineers!

The ground is so far from the centre that, in all honesty, you'd be better off drinking somewhere like Abingdon before the game anyway. Not much further from the ground, and less hassle.
This is what happens when you build your ground at the arse end of nowhere.

I was 28 when I saw my first Oxford game.

They will. If you believe something will happen, it will.

A couple of points.
1) There is no way on earth you'd get me to go in the home end with those tossers. Ever.
2) Arriba, if ST holders don't get priority for away tickets, then who does ?
3) It's 12pm kick off so I can't see us being given a pub.
Still have no idea how i'm going to get to the ground. Got a few options.
1) Drive there
2) Get a bus from my house into Oxford centre and then a taxi to the stadium.
3) Train from Kingham or Charlbury into Oxford then get a taxi.

I think arriba's point was that they shouldn't operate a priority system, just leave it open on a first come, first served basis.

I'm sure it was, but as much as i like arriba (thanks again for the dvd mate) he's talking bollocks on this occasion. First come, first served would mean we could potentially have 1300 there who haven't even been to a game this season. Alright i know this is the extreme but there has to be some sort of priority system to reward the more loyal supporters.

I'm a ST holder and reckon I might struggle to get a ticket if it's only 1,300.
Will they take telephone sales or will we have to queue up at the ticket office ?

Do we really want to encourage so-called loyal fans to attend more games?

They should do it on a geographical basis. Those closest to the Kassam get priority for tickets.
