Ditto, seeing as JW said they almost signed it just before the game... Then saying that it should be finalised perhaps after the game.. Now the Adver saying should sign today. And nothing yet.  Hmmm

Only thing I would say is that no one has told us that it's dead in water. So no news is good news but it seems as though things are far from sorted like STFC were led to believe

It's alright they are giving people time to stock up on underwear & tissues before announcing the deal.

They way i've read it over the last few days is that Wes is going to sign in this window.

A virus is normally out of a persons system within about 48 hours.

So I guess it's possible Palace may delay the transfer until their keeper is fit, if he doesn't make their next game recall Wes for that one game then let the transfer go through.

That would be worst case senario I would think.

It would need to be a fucking big virus to call off the transfer completely...

The earliest he'd be able to play for palace would be in the league cup next week anyway, by which point you'd assume any virus would be long gone.

There's a couple of Palace fans congratulating him on his move on his Twatter account (both 6 hours ago) and he's thanked them (as opposed to him saying, "well actually it's not gone through yet"). This leads me to believe that the deal has gone through but just has not been announced yet

More likely the league are dragging their heels what with making sure we don't knacker the wage cap, etc.

Hopefully.

Our transfers always take a while to be fair. Not worried just yet.
