Reasonable draw. Feeling a little underwhelmed but certainly winnable on current form. As long as our form doesn't desert us between now and the game, then shoud be fine.

I think this is a great tie, how big time are we if we're underwhelmed to draw a team from the top tier? I don't think they should be there but surely for the thousands of match of the day watchers in wiltshire, this will be attractive? I think we could win this one, maybe increase league attendances a bit, a cheap ticket on  the bank...........what's not to love?

Last one was probably Arsenal in 1972 - within some our lifetimes

I think thats as good as we could have hoped for. However, apart from the obvious I think they will televise "Son of Alex" V "Media Darling O'Neill".

ok it isn't a top top tie, but I'm quite happy with a tie against a premier team at home.  could have been a lot worse. we'll get our big game in the forth round.

Don't think we'll even be on TV abroad this time round. Loads of games bigger or more interesting than ours in this round.
Forest vs Leicester, Arsenal vs Leeds, Stoke vs Gillingham (Pullis against his old club), Fulham vs Charlton, Everton vs Tamworth, Liverpool vs Southend? , Chelmesford? vs Bolton, Fleetwood? vs Blackpool, Spurs vs Cheltenham, amongst others.

they rarely go for games where the bigger side is at home which rules out quite a few of those games

I've given a little more thought to this.  Given that Wigan have not played us in a while and that we are a bigger club than they are...I imagine their fans are going to be well up for this.  Quite a decent draw for them.

Who cares if it's on TV or not? I certainly don't. Happy with this draw. Yes Wigan are a bit a pathetic excuse for a Premier League team but they are still at that level. You have to remember we are a L2 side these days as well. It's at home and they have been awful whilst we are strong at home so I reckon we've got a chance of an upset here.

Certainly not a plum draw.....but a lot better than shit. Incidentally Wigan have never won at the CG.

I've a lot of time for Martinez...not many would have shown his loyalty in the summer when he turned down the Villa job.

Tamworth will be happy as well with Everton away.
