And Vale striker Tom Pope's midweek comments about Di Canio being in cloud cuckoo land! Andy Scott and Steve Evans learnt the hard way, now so have Adams and Pope. Don't disrespect Di Canio! Cheesy

Would love every team in the league to carry on doing the same!

Bloody brilliant.

Remember Micky Adams spouting bollocks doubting Di Canio and all those 'foreign players' at the start of the season?

Adams (below) said: “It’s his first job and I think everybody in football knows how important it is to get off to a good start when you begin as a manager.

“Don’t get me wrong. He has a wealth of experience and I’m sure can get over what he wants.

“But the first club you are in charge of can either make you or break you.

“Since he arrived, Swindon have had quite a turnover of players, including a number of foreign boys. It will be interesting to see how they settle.

“His reputation will help him at first, but players can work you out very quickly.

“They soon decide if you talk a good game, or if you really can impart your knowledge and develop a pattern of play.

“The one thing he will find is that this division is relentless.

“In the first few months when you are playing twice a week, with no time for recovery, it can be a real test. A lot of the foreign players will find that alien, and it will be an eye opener for him.”

Quite reasonable to be fair. I'm sure it has been an eye opener for most of them but they seem to coping pretty well so far Yes

You do realise it's Port Vale we're playing, Not Arsenal at The Emirates?  Hmmm
Just had a funny feeling about today.  Always delighted to be proved completely wrong.

Was going to post this earlier, but didn't want to tempt fate until after the final whistle.

Micky Adam's comments are a bit more reasonable from I remember, probably got mixed up with Terry Brown who seemed to have a pop at Paolo aswell. A chance to make him eat his words on Tuesday coming up though.

Chris Wise sounds like he's rather unsure of Magera's English, which then turns out to be perfectly passable.

So my 100% record of matchday threads continues!
Huzzarh!

And a win away from home. Lovely.

Losing 13-2 at futsal wasn't amazing however.
