That's just fucking wrong.
We did that against Crawley last season...and it was so wrong. I refuse to buy the People or any Mirror Group title due to the demotion. Yes they might not have printed any lies, but who owned the title at the time? A certain Robert Maxwell, who used to own the Pox !! I'll now have to explain to a young kid,who I've been taking to the CG this season, why we're not playing in red at home...and he won't understand it !! |

There are plenty of other STFC games I can spend money on going to. How much are 'The People' paying us? How much did this kit cost to manufacture? How many fans not turning up will it take for them to realise that messing with the clubs identity is not acceptable? But the fact that the kit is at the behest of 'The People' makes it even more rediculous. I guess some twat at Mirror Groups marketing team said, 'we dont sell many papers in Swindon'? There might be a reason for that. |
