I've been working in Burton for seven years and live 20 miles away so this is a dream fixture for me...Sutton Red, yes there is a big beer festival on which is best to get to early as can get "boisterous" There are some brilliant pubs if you like decent beer...The Coopers is a five min walk from the Station and is not the sort of place you can buy WKD...thankfully!! Also Burton Bridge brews on site. There is the Lord Burton -Weatherspoons on the High Street.. The ground is small and modern..a bit like Walsall ten years ago....The town is a bit faceless and smells of either Marmite or Curry, depending on which way the wind is blowing.. Bring it on

Considering going and have been looking at train prices and just a tip for anyone who hasn't already got their train ticket, instead of going from Euston straight to burton or via Birmingham, go from Euston to tamworth and then change to go to burton, worked out cheaper for me anyway.

It might be a change of plan for me now, what's the cheapest way of getting to Burton on the train anyone? I'll be going from Chippenham, I don't my beat up old car would get me there and back.

Can't go as I'm at a wedding. Last time I couldn't go to a game because of a wedding, we lost to Oxford.
