Unbelievable how negative some of the predictions are on here Rotherham are good but not that good, they've lost Fondre and replaced with Revell. We should always be favourites with home advantage, however i do believe they will score at least once probably from a set piece or two. I say 2 - 1 win for us Ritchie and Kerrouche with the goals and a attendance of just over 7,000.

It's not really 'unbelievable' is it?
I've predicted a 2-1 win but that's blind hope.

Very nervous about our new keeper Lanzano today.
Not half as nervous as I'll be if Smith plays - at least we don't know if this lad is crap - benefit if the doubt and all that

Bring me Sunshine, in your smile, Bring me Laughter, all the while, In this world where we live, there should be more happiness, So much joy you can give, to each brand new bright tomorrow.
I hope I never become as negative as vast portions of our fanbase. What satisfaction is there from pissing on your own fireworks? *despair*
I just want a result that causes all the doom-mongers to be annoyed they were wrong.

Looks like we're playing 433:
Lanzano; Caddis, Flint, Comazzi, Kennedy; Ritchie, Ferry, McCormack, De Vita; Kerrouche, Magera

Swindon vs Rotherham: Di Canio on verge of Swindon sacking Riots with players and a lack of wins makes this a must win game for Paolo Di Canio.
It’s unusual for Sky Sports to screen a League Two game live on a Saturday but it’s understandable why they’ve chosen Swindon’s clash with Rotherham.
Swindon were one of the pre-season favourites for the title and with Paolo Di Canio in charge, there was plenty of optimism around The County Ground.
However just one win in the league leaves Di Canio hanging on to his job by a thread and with table toppers Rotherham visiting the County Ground, Di Canio is in a precarious position. Unbelievable !!! This is the 'story' currently running on Ladbrokes.com. What a bunch of sensationalist tossers ! Also shows a total lack of knowledge, as this fixture was chosen for screening weeks ago ! Come on Town - show 'em Town to win 3-1, Flint to score first

Surprised at that. Was only time that P Smith was going to be dropped, Connell was never going to start. Good to see McCormack start. It's a very attacking formation unless Kerrouche is playing out wide?

Substitutes: Smith P(GK), Smith J, Abdulla, Cibocchi, Connell
Disappointed not to see Esajas or Gabilondo on the bench as, for me, they're more 'game-changers' than Jonathan Smith. Also, I know Abdullah is described as an 'attacking midfielder' but he still plays down the middle, strange that Di Canio doesn't have a winger on the bench. Hope a lack of a centre back on the bench doesn't bite him on the bum again either.

In the Cibocchi story on the Adver Di Canio said that he was good cover for LB and CB. On the Abdullah story it talks about him having been a forward and a midfielder. Connell was a converted winger to striker at Grimsby. So, theoretically, we have a bench with cover on nearly all positions on the pitch.
