Why would a player swap the happy days here,Wembley and a better than good chance of promotion?
He has either got plenty of money or he is just a little stupid....promotion and him being top scorer could and probably would have been a contract extension on a bigger wage.

...to play football?
...to get away from a place he is clearly not wanted?
...to get away from a manager who won't play him
...because the club accepted their bid and he didn't have much choice

He'll probably bang in the goals for them.

Course he has a choice....NO means he dosn't go simple as that...NO i will stay and knuckle down...NO i do not want to play for Swindon's rivals..
Trying to imply he has no choice is simply not true,he has a contract and can do as he pleases until that is ended.

Just say Non Wink

His career at STFC is fucked. Why would he say no, he's looking for a new job.

But he does have a choice that is what leefer is saying.Knuckle down and train like the rest of your team mates are expected to train and you will play for us again.Wasn't exactly a shocking demand to make.

It is not fucked,he has over a year to run,eat some humble pie and show some bollox, like we all have to do at times.

I'm not arguing that the situation isn't his own doing*, or that there wasn't a way forward at STFC that he chose not to take.

You have to assume he doesn't want to stay at STFC, otherwise he'd be busting a gut to get back in. Like Ferry did in pre-season.

* based on what has been said, obviously not heard his side.

I asked Mr Rose this same question on what PDC's response is regarding Mehdi...

Presumably one that will work his socks off like everyone else who plays for Paolo

I've never really understood why Kerrouche went from being 'on fire' to nowhere within a space of weeks in the autumn.

Which possibly means,i have learned from the Leon Clarke episode and do not want to air personal things in public.
My feeling is that PDC wouldn't be getting rid of a good striker for no reason, and most at the club know why he is.

Yup, this is the standard reply but we all know it's Paolo's way or the A420 way.

And that's not necessarily any bad thing...

I like Kerrouche. Shame it hasn't really worked out for him here, you never know, if he goes there and scores a few goals he could come back here and get back in the team.

Or, if he is a massive failure there, then their fans are paying his wages for us, which could allow us to bring in a new player. Which is quite funny.

I love Thursday's, their forum has gone into partial meltdown.

He'll score goals for them no doubt and I wish him luck. We'll never know what the falling out was but in PDC we trust.
