Well as i said i have said my piece.
In my opinion we need to buy some front players...and now another midfielder.
If he comes good i will be pleased, and thats being truthfull.
I take all your points but for me with the disapointment of Douglas leaving i am just pissed right off and the likes of Leon Knight dosn't do a lot for me.

 Zipped Zipped Zipped...end off argument.

Didn't Knight and McLeod line up together for the MK Dongs for a season or two?

Its as if they wanted to be hated more....

Speaking of which, where did Sean O'Hanlon end up?

Not the Swindon way I'm afraid. We slate them and generally consign them to the scrap heap before they've even signed, let alone kicked a ball Roll Eyes

The issue isn't what he can or can't do with a ball and a trial will not prove anything off the pitch. Maybe Di Canio will give him yet another chance which he may or may not chuck away. The guy is 28, not a youngster who can be taught. I guess the only slim chance he'd not play silly cunt in the dressing room is if he's finally realised his career is short and finite and he'll be a nobody in a few years time. If he's that desperate to play football he may calm down.

If he signs he will get his chance to prove himself without me slating him. My reservations about Di Canio have thus far been unfounded.

I think taking him away to Italy for a week (?) will probably give a good indication. You get to know people fairly well when you're with them 24/7. That week could make or break Knight's career.

Let's give the bloke a chance. Atleast he'll add a bit of arrogance and confidence up front that we were lacking last season. As others have said maybe he's matured. I think joey Barton is a good example that cnuts can sort themselves out.

Hmmm sounds like you're talking about Charlie Austin.

And just to put in my two pence worth, Leon Knight is a nasty little bastard who appears to piss off everyone around him without much effort.  As far as I'm concerned he can disappear back into the wilderness.  He's only got himself to blame for being there in the first place!

Ahhh, Calderwood could always spot a good defender... although he's buggering off to become assistant at Birmingham isn't he?.... I suppose that still counts as a career step up from the position of Hibs manager... Cheesy
