Quite.

May: Our squad is shit, we need a clear out. What are they doing?
July: Oh my god, they're having a clear out. What are they doing?

Think most people are pleased the dead wood has gone but don't really think Benyon fitted that category, he was rarely given a chance and I think most were looking forward to seeing him lead the line in League 2 as he has a good record there.  To be honest I don't care if he was a Wycombe fan he was contracted to us so shouldn't of even been given the option of the move.  Strange transfer by the club, really hope we are going to see a flurry of arrivals soon as pre-season is fast approaching!

If we does well there then at the end of the loan then there will be the possibility of getting money for him or him coming back and doing the business for us.

Good Luck to him he is still a Swindon player

Now for 3 new forwards hopefully

PDC talked about having a system. Maybe he is planning on 1 up top and Benyon doesnt fit that role

What the fuck! I hope these 7 new signings are first teamers as we don't even have 11 pros at the moment (okay, a slight exaggeration).

I'm not going to defend Hart as he was a complete tool.

One upfront is the preferred formation of most top teams at the moment. Either with two wingers or 3 attacking players behind him. Hart just played defenders everywhere!

Hope the fans don't think 1 up front is negative if that is what PDC does

sorry but this decision is ludicrous. Benyon scored goals for fun in league 2.

clearly he isn't good enough for PDC's squad which if that's the case the players coming in have to be better. i think our midfield is our benchmark. if all the new signings are of the same quality i'll be one happy fan

I think this is may be the club's thought process in accepting the offer after Benyon engineered the move. He cannot play up front on his own, so it's fair enough if he wasn't going to be in the plans or fit in the system.
