Chuffed about that. OK, he wasn't great last year, but then again nobody was. He got better toward the end of the season and was brilliant the season before.
Could easily play at a higher level, arguably the Championship, so to keep him here is a great bit of business.

Hope he signs. Ferry, Ritchie, Caddis and Dougie in the middle should be more than enough to overpower most teams in this division.

Great news if it happens! JD is a vital part to our team. Not quite captain material IMO, but we need him patrolling the centre of the park, especially in League Two

Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Given how rarely we saw him last season, Ferry could be a great 'new signing' for us if he stays and shows some of the form we know he's capable of.

A midfield of Caddis Douglas Ferry and Ritchie will be absolutely mint in League Two. Lightweight or not, there's a ridiculous amount of quality there that will overcome most brutes in L2.

I don't think Ferry failed to show what he's capable of last season, because he was played so rarely. Whenever he played he looked the same as ever and was the most committed player on the pitch.
Ferry is the sort of player, di Canio will love because he always gives his all. I have a sneaking suspicion he'll be captain. Although he seems quieter on the pitch than off it, his work ethic, especially if he was captain, could set an example for the others and leave less room for passengers.

I was actually delighted when he came to us in League 1 when he left Leeds. But staying with us in League 2 is brilliant for us.
He could play in The Championship easily.

I will be made up if he signs. Obviously massively disapointed that he had a stinker last season, but he's quality - and in L2 that midfield mentioned will be one of the best in the league.
