Had a brilliant time walking near Tenby a couple of years ago, stopped at a park at Manorbier just outside Tenby that turned out to be owned and run by the Edwards fair family from Swindon. When you go a must is a visit to Bosherton Lilyponds on the NT Stackpole estate, a long fantastic walk through trees and lakes which eventually opens up to a fantastic golden beach which seems as though no one has discovered it yet.

Flying out to Germany on Monday for three days courtesy of a supplier. They have their own "party house" which from what I've heard is supposed to be great fun.

If I survive that, hopefully a few days in Rome in June, two days at the Open in July followed by a week visiting the inlaws in Bordeaux in August. I shall fill in the gaps by playing golf, watching the cricket and pretending to do some work.

my first lads holiday was to Kavos... i've had the bad judgement to tick off Malia, Faliraki, and Ayia Napa in my youth and would have to say kavos was the shittiest of all those shitholes. still a good laugh though. Napa was the best, and not so grimey (and the exchange rate with the Cypriot pound made it a bargain)

New Faliraki up the hill is the place to stay these days, the best hotels on the island and away from the young Brits in the run-down booze area. The place for youngsters on Rhodes is now Bar Street in Rodos Town and has been for the last four or five years. I agree Kavos is a total shithole, but Malia isn't that bad. Never been to Ayia Napa.

Cologne in a few weeks time. Not really my choice, but its got a huge cathedral and a great Roman museum so not without things to recommend it.Sure i will get to spend plenty of time watching the other half imbibing beer as well, sadly i'm not able to participate though.

The Isles of Scilly again in August, yippie! Can't wait to be there sitting in the Turks Head eating and hearing the sea.Just the thought of it makes me feel relaxed and happy.

There is a decent beer hall within view of the Dom.

Cologne was ok but for German cities I preferred Berlin and Hamburg.

I'm going here on Sunday for my summer holiday

http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5174/5390852078_a4752fa36b.jpg

Unfortunately it is going to rain and Karlsruhe are going to get relegated into the 3rd division.

Last home game I went to was last game of 2008/09 season. They won 4-0 but still got relegated to the 2. Bundesliga. 2 years on and history could well be repeating itself - this time to an even shitter league.

Karlsruhe have rattled through 4 managers and about 50 players this season. Nothing's really worked.

I tell a lie about being relegated - the numbers are in KSC's favour:

14  SC Paderborn 07 33 9 9 15 29:45 -16 36
15  Karlsruher SC 33 7 9 17 43:70 -27 30
----------------------------------------------
16  VfL Osnabrück 33 7 7 19 39:62 -23 28
----------------------------------------------
17  Rot-Weiß Oberhausen 33 7 7 19 29:62 -33 28
18  Arminia Bielefeld** 33 4 7 22 27:64 -37 16
