Paul Hart = Wanker.  Any small part of understanding/respect that I had left for the man due to what he has to work with disappeared after hearing his after match interview.

The man is quite obviously a complete tool that should be nowhere near any football club let alone ours.

Time for a complete change.  Fuck the same old names that have been banded about.  Let's go for the untried young upcoming manager, whether ex player or not, so that we can produce the next Paul Tisdale esk type of manager.  We haven't done that since the likes of Macari, Ardiles and Hoddle.  It worked back then, irrelevant of what they went onto achieve in their managerial careers.  They were good times, and apart from last year we haven't had many of them recently so time for a complete change in strategy from the board me thinks.  Fuck Hart, Fuck Trollope, fuck em all.....

Time to think outside the box Fitton, ask for patience from the fans and build something great that is sustainable for the long term, not just for 1 fucking season.

If Fitton still believes that young unproven player are the way to go then he's actually a dickhead.

Yes DV

The current squad is full of young unproven players, isn't it?

We should sign lots of players with proven League One experience like Michael Rose, Andy Frampton, David Prutton and Vincent Pericard.

I'd say proven was debatable....

..oh and as well as being 'proven' being good might help as well.

Bad business as well.

I mean all that money we made on Austin, simply not good enough!

I think this season has proved that youngsters can struggle to pick up a team when it isn't playing well.

That said Caddis and Ritchie have been two of the better players.

Just heard Hoddle was there, and I'm being to lazy to go through the thread.
Any reason he was there?

He wanted to explain to our players how evil they'd been in a previous life.

the majority of this squad should hang their heads in shame. The fans should voice their discontent after the final home game if they even contemplate coming out for applause

When you don't bring in adequate replacements it isn't.

Would we have been better off having not signed Austin in the first place?

That was the point I was making in response to Dave's post.

And besides, is it Fitton's responsibility to identify new players or is that perhaps the managers job?

I think they both take responsibility.
