No, it's down to having the right technique and reading the greens. Especially at Augusta.

Look at Rorys putting all week, hardly holed a thing, if he had he'd have been 12 clear going in to round 4.

Good point DMR, and interesting how Woods struggled with so many short putts, especially in the final round. If he'd holed a few of those (which used to be gimmes for him) and set the guys behind 12 or 13 under to chase down might have been his day.

Woods is a great example of what I'm trying to say, he's never been composed and calm on the golf course but for 5 or 6 years he was the best putter in the business.

Being pumped up helped Tiger hole more winning putts than it did make him miss.

On a personal level I've always putted better the more fired up I am cos I want to win that bit more than the cunt next to me.

Not quite the Masters granted but got my ticket for Wentworth next month,£50 for four days is brilliant value,five including the pro am.
Looking forward to it alot,its a great tournament and watching is easy,plenty of room.

Cabrera,Fisher and Casey are course specalist's if you fancy a flutter.

I'll be going on the Thursday, £25 I think it is but i always get my money's worth by getting 12 hours viewing in. As you say there are loads of great viewing spots, I'd recommend any golf fan gets the chance to watch many of the worlds best up close and personal.

£35 on the day.£30 if you buy up to a week before, includes the parking of course and a  program that is why the four day  ticket is good value.
