2.5k for a starting bid probably isnt the best way to go about it. Just have a reserve on it

it was free listing, so thought I'd give it a go.
Next option is between buy now with best offer, or reserve.

If anyone is seriously interested in it they'll send you a message and make an offer. People watching it is a good sign of interest as well, I watch stuff that I thinks over priced in case it's relished lower.

I don't pay too much attention to people watching figures. Had 25 people watching a really (I mean 5 gbp) item & no bids.
I figured anybody interested would make an offer, so just put it on for what was paid & see. Nothing ventured, nothing gained

2.5k  Girl Giggle no chance mate. Your asking for sensible offers maybe you should put it at a sensible price.

I always hoped that within the  re-development that Town would have created a museum, and this would have been ideal for it.

the club did have interest in displaying it, but only if it was available on a Bosman.
And given its value. I can't afford to do that

What fucking value?! You're the only person in the world that actually wants the fucking thing. It's basically worthless in a financial sense.

Here's a Man U treble winners medal for £110.

Not strictly true.  At £110, or anything up to £500 maybe, you'd have quite a few takers I would imagine.  The value of anything is, basically, the value that a potential buyer is willing to pay.  Given that no one - and not even the Club - is willing to pay £2,500 tells you that, simply put, the medal is not worth £2,500.

This is a harsh reality, the chance of making back what you paid is pretty unlikely it would seem.

Fair play to you for trying though but your valuation (or value to you) is obviously higher than the actual value to other people.
