Played the last few minutes vs Reading but still looked like the Ferry we all love.

As I said somewhere earlier, I wonder if it's because Ferry doesn't have enough discipline in the way he plays - holding position, following set routines... just a guess, but it seems that that's the sort of thing that Di Canio wouldn't like

I might be horrifically off the mark though!

Maybe we pay Celtic more money after so many appearances?

I genuinely feel If it wasn't for the obvious support for Ferry from a high percentage of supporters Paolo would of already got shot of him, contract or no contract. PDC is still trying to make friends with as many people at the club as possible including fans. Can't see Ferry being with us much longer but Paolo might just wait until we get a couple of wins which will soften the departure of Simon and keep everyone on side. I hope he stays and think we need some flair in midfield but up to now Ferry has'nt been in Paolo's plans so can't see things changing in the near future.

I cant see Di Canio being the type to keep a player just because he's popular.

Purely guess work but I expect Di Canio has noted both the talent and the non-serious jokey attitude. Probably has given him till January to knuckle down and prove he can be serious. If not bye-bye

It's been too long now since Ferry has held a regular starting place, we all see him having a joke and a laugh whilst warming up pre match but when it comes to the actual match Si always gives as much as anyone else, yes he has looked at times half a yard off the pace but to me it's a vicious circle. The only thing that makes and keeps you match fit is matches. Hope your right DV but just can't see Ferry being at his serious best without 1st team football.

My worry is if Ferry goes, Caddis will follow him out the door soon after.

Dont know why mind.

PdC lost his head with Ferry in the Changing room after the game for not warming up properly at half time, and made it very clear that if he does not want to be at the club, then leave.

Its fair to say we saw a very different attitude and performance from Simon at Sundays training session!

Interesting, and quite believable but did they train Sunday as Paolo did say on the radio the lads were allowed a few beers on Saturday night as they had earned it. A few sore heads at the training ground on Sunday morning if they did.

Then maybe if true a few home truths could work out for the better, perhaps they made up with a man hug without the Glasgow kiss !
