It's entirely possible the negotiations were completed and he's popping up to sign the paperwork. That or he may just need something from Ted Baker and he's staying at the Premier Inn overnight.

I suspect you can discuss terms on route also.
Breaking News, tragedy strikes as Devon based footballer crashes on the M5. Early reports indicate the driver was using his mobile and driving erratically.

He's not got the easiest name to put into a song has he?
I'm trying to do something to the tune of Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles

£135,000 will feel like daylight robbery for Torquay fans.

If we have signed him, it's a true sign of the times that £135k signings are discussed without sheer shock and amazement at the fee involved. All the fucktards that go on about the need to open the cheque book need to look at what we've spent since McMahan left us in the shit up until last season.
Get real....the club have braught in nearly 3.5 million in transfers in 18 months...and spent around £600,000.....time to spend some money and bring in at least two quality front players....in the next hour if possible

True, true. But spending hundreds of thousands of players in positions where we already have 3 or 4 adequate players is not going to satisfy fans when we cant sign a striker.

But I also think he might be dissapointed by what we offer him wage wise, and his agent might be even more dissapointed when we offer him fuck all.
Maybe, but an Ipswich fan from work did reveal that Austin turned them down because they offered him less than he had been offered by Swindon. If that is true I'm sure we can offer Benyon more than Torquay

Knowing what Swindon offered Austin, I would find that extremely extremely difficult to believe. Ipswich were paying the money, but he wanted Howe and Burnley. They just dont want to face up to the fact he chose a club with better prospects.

He actually wanted Blackpool and Premiership football, but they wouldn't meet our demands.

Yep i can see this deal going seriously tits up tbh less than 2 hours to discuss terms does not bode well unless the club have already spoken to said player before hand.
I'm an optomist but just can't see this happening, loan maybe but permanent we'll need a miracle
If you can't see it happening when he's actually on his way to Swindon then you're hardly a fucking optimist are you?

Nah, fans know this is what happens the window before players are out of contract.
