Constable lives in Bassett. I know somebody who lives close, from what I am told he is angling for a move to us. However I am only too aware that he kissed that filthy badge despite being a Town fan at heart. Make of it what you will, with Pox looking as though they may struggle to remain in contention for a playoff spot I think the right offer and we could quite easily take him. Would be a fringe player at L1 level though, not a long term quality signing.
Everybody is entitled to their opinions on possible signings, I personally think we need somebody better than Constable. Many people laughed when Matt Tubbs was mentioned on here when he was scoring goals for fun at Salisbury. Goal no. 14 for him yesterday in L2, just wished we had somebody who had scored 14 so far this season for us!!!

Keeping Ritchie is the most important thing. To add Rooney, rather than as Ritchie's replacement would be fantastic. Do what we can to offload Comazzi, Lanzano, Clarke, and Timlin...unless the Timlin fancies a crack at things back here. If he doesn't, we ned a replacement.

After signing for the cunts he has no right to go anywhere near STFC other than as an opposing player. He's got to live with the fucking shame of kissing the shitstain badge. No Swindon fan should even talk to him - they should turn their backs on him - cunt.

Would love to sign both Ridehalgh and Foderingham on perms but both would be unlikely. I think it's safe to assume we'll be sniffing around Benson and Rooney come January. We need a goalscorer and Benson has done it at this level before. Rooney looks a decent prospect. Would like another CM if Timlin does go.
As others have said though it's vital we keep hold of Ritchie, Caddis, Flint and Ferry as well. They are key to any potential success we may have this season.

Think we need another midfielder regardless of what Timlin does. Ferry is our only creativity in that position. Lose him and we are in real trouble. Smith is good but erratic and Risser, well as you can read on TheWashbag.com on Wednesday (was Tuesday) recently only won two tackles in one entire game.

Subtle huh? Well, if I reveal that he only completed 10 passes in 90 minutes plus five minutes of injury time you might not read it.

but do you mention that he's a fine specimen of a beast according to Rhys "when I was at Swindon" Evans?

That is one stat I don't have. Perhaps he as Sir Alex described Dion Dublin: 'Magnificent'.
