That's ace!
There's obviously an innocent explaination, but it does look very much like they are talking on a mobile phone.
That Irish cunt waffled on for ages aswell.

I love the bit that I read on this somewhere where he says "the only possible explanation is time travel". Yeah, sure, the ONLY sensible conclusion anyone could come to

Time travel is theoretically possible, I understand. (Any quantum physics I used to know has mostly been forgotten...so pls don't ask me how.)
But in practical terms, you have to doubt whether people will ever travel back in time - for the simple reason that, if it was going to be possible to do this in future, our world (and our past) would now be full of time travellers from the 2300s. And it isn't.

As long as the rest of the global communication infrastructure needed to make a mobile phone call, along with someone else to talk too, was also beamed back in time then a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Well I beleive it.
Clearly once time travel was invented the first idea was to travel back 1928, dressed as a drag queen slightly resembling the crow man from Worzel Gummidge whilst talking in a 1980's brick phone.
The only possible explanation is time travel.

I think it's time travelling into the future that is theoretically possible. The theory revolves the impossibility of being able to travel faster than the speed of light.
To have a mobile phone in the 30's though would mean travelling back in time, not sure about that.

I said to the wife, surely If it was a time traveller they would pick something a bit more earth shattering than A film premiere to go to. She actually said that's exactly the thing she'd head for, bugger the building of the pyramids etc.

I think it's time travelling into the future that is theoretically possible. The theory revolves the impossibility of being able to travel faster than the speed of light. It sort of happens already anyway. The faster something moves the slower time goes, but obviously you have to be going pretty fast for it to make any real difference. Think they put an atomic clock on one of the space shuttles and when it came back it was a fraction of a second slow. Which is sort of time travel. Saw a documentary thing recently with Stephen Hawking - he reckons there is most likely some kind of force or rule of physics that prevents time travel to the past to prevent paradoxes occuring and fucking everything up.

If that's true then i've experienced time travel many times, in fact the clock on our wall is 1 minute slow, that pisses all over your fraction of a second, so nerrrrrrrr. I've had occurences where my watch has stopped altogether. Yeah.

Its Einstein's theory of relativity and you only need a jet plane going round the world and a couple of atomic clocks to prove it. Which saves on the price of a space shuttle.
