Holy shit, did they only field Greer?

Nope.. Fuck knows what happened! Played them a few weeks later in the league cup and lost 2-0!

Slighty OT, but does anyone know how I can transfer a game from one laptop to another.  I do have a portable hard drive.  It's FM 2008. Ta.

Easiest thing to do is copy the whole Sports Interactive folder that sits in My Documents.

I love the little quirks you get in this game. For example, I acquired Alex Henshall on free transfer from Man City. A season later they bought him back for £3.5m.

I've had fm11 for about a month now, and i'm not sure I like it. Games take forever, press conferencesd get tedious very quickly, and setting up tactics seems almost nasa like with the number of different options and such

That was my problem with the last 2 versions of the game. Doesn't seem to be a problem in this one. If you change the match speed during the game it will remember it for next time. Also you can select your assistant to automatically do press conferences in team settings.

My problem is that I need a RAM upgrade

Finding bargain regens in obscure leagues is one of the best bits of the game. I can't run the huge database though so I am missing out on a huge chunk of the goodness.

Memory isn't that expensive to upgrade. If you're processor is shit it probably won't make much difference though.

Press conferences and match speed are minor concerns tbh when compared to the baffling complexity of the tactics system

My processor is OK..... 3ghz dual core.

I know ram ain't that pricey, but playing games is not an 'essential' need of mine and is therefore down the list a bit.
