in my first season, Only got the demo, getting the full game tonight as cannot wait for Christmas. I am 4th in league One. I am out of the cups though but not bothered. Need a good left back and right back really although I sent Callum Kennedy off to Cirencester and he did well so brought him back into the first team. Looking at a right back from Gills who has 8.26 rating and only costs 14K but came to the end of the demo so no idea if I got him until tonight when I carry on. May need new center back as Cuthbert wants stupid money. Morrison has done ok. Dossevi and Stern John score for fun, Austin not as much. Pericard is pretty shit. Bring it on, cannot wait to carry on this evening!

Picked this up the other day and I'm loving it. Currently top of the table level on points with Peterborough. 11 Played, 8 wins and 3 draws. Shipped out Pericard and brought in Steve Howard for £20k. Got Nouble, Chris Wood from West Brom and Havard Nordveit from Arsenal, all on season long loans.

Playing a 4-1-4-1 as follows:

           Lucas

Caddis   Cuthbert   Morrison   Rose

           Nordveit

Nouble  Douglas   Ferry/Prutton  O'Brien

            Wood

Charlie boy isn't getting a look in I'm afraid as I need a proper target man in this formation, playing on the counter with  wingers set to drive crosses into the box and O'brien and Nouble are tearing it up!

Got to the Premiership in 3 seasons with Swindon, won the League Cup, finished 5th in the league and Fitton gave me no extra funds for players so I left and became manager of Man Utd!

They should add a mode called "reality mode" with the following modifications...

- Board sells off your best players, and you receive no funds
- Players refuse to sign new contracts
- It's difficult to sign players
- Players you do sign often underperform
- Injury rates increase
- Your team play well and listen during training sessions, then continue to make silly mistakes in matches
- No matter what you do, the fans aren't happy...

I found that when I sold players I only got a very small percentage to spend. I have done a bit of selling just to boost my defence, So had to sell JP McGovern, Timlin, Rose (for small amounts mind except JPM) just to get some money to re-sign Cuthbert although he is stalling now. I have had to rely on free's which I found one striker who is a gem scoreed 8 goals in 6 games on loan at Cheltenham or loan players.

Another slight anomaly is that Fitton in his infinite wisdom sold Dossevi off his own back for £1 million without consulting me, e.g. the board have accepted a bid etc etc.

Then 2 week later in a Board Confidence Update, bearing in mind what has just happened and the fact that I am after 23 games top of the league and havent lost in 10 games.......

To summarise, the board are satisfied with your management of the team.

The departure of Shanon Carmelia from the club has proved to be a very popular decision amongst the fans.

However your decision to let Thomas Dossevi leave the club is regarded by the fans as an abberation.

The club recorded a profit of £1.5 million last month.

i've worked out what's happening - even if someone's running away from the box and a centreback holds someone back etc even if there are people alongside it's seen as a professional foul.
it's really very fucking annoying

I decided to put together a couple of shortlists.
This is really for people playing with premiership side (maybe i'll do one for lower leagues too)

Shortlist 1 = Youngsters/Wonderkids
The only criteria i have kept to with this is that they are all under 19. These players are the ones that i have come across in games ive played that have developed/are developing into world class players

http://www.mediafire.com/file/0zdsctr9yy1tcvx/djchubbs_youngsters_wonderkids.slf

Shortlist 2 = My Recommendations

No real criteria used here, just players i have come across when playing in the top flight that have really done the business.
I have not included your obvious players (i.e messi/ronaldo/iniesta/terry etc etc)
I have only included player whom i have signed/know can be signed

http://www.mediafire.com/file/nc2ooru23cfyl2n/djchubbs_recommends.slf

These are just my 1st draft, I will be adding to them gradually.
