Wonder what sort of figure were going to be talking about?

650k or there abouts at a guess.

Looks like the board are ready to accept this time round just hope that we see some of the money invested back into the team.  Understandably thinks are tight but without his goals next season we are going to have to improve the overall side to compensate and with losing so many players for nothing it'll make it a tough job.

Watford for me they have a bit of cash off Buggery John to spend and should be able to finally stump up the cash.

Anyone know if Chelski actually do have a sell-on clause or is it a rumour that's croped up as I certainly have never read it from any official source?

a Rumour is, is that Ipswich have offered £650k upfront + £400k on promotion + 10% sell on.

Have also heard Chelski have a 50% sell on.
surley this is all wrong.

That's a nice deal think we should really look at taking something in that neck of the woods.

50% Sell on though is horrific hopefully if there is a clause it's a lot less than that.

Pretty sure that 50% figure is wrong.

i heard it was around about 50%, but not entirely sure. anyway chelsea dont need the money they should scrap that bit of the contract! would just be pocket money to abramovich.

maybe sam will log on & tell us, he checks the internet dont u know  Cool

Supporters may jump to the Watford conclusion because it is relatively close to Parkin’s London home, but the man himself is keen to destroy the myth.

He said: “I obviously listen to what’s being said and I look at the internet.

“I see some people saying I wouldn’t be interested in leaving London. That just isn’t true.”

maybe a deal with Chelski if the sell on is 50% could be done on that kid they wanted.

Basicly scrap the 50% sell on and let them have the kid + a pre-season friendly at theres.

seems Norwich are the other club involved.
Could be a bidding war between two rival clubs??

Don't think Mr Parkin would know too much about sell on clauses etc.

Dean Ashton and Sam Parkin up front next season for Norwich - fucking hell that'd be awesome.

this is from the evening argus brightons local paper

ALbion have been priced out of landing prolific striker sam parkin.
chairman dick knight had talks with his swindon counterpart willie carson and made a 'speculative offer' but the seagulls have been overtaken by chamionship rivals ipswich and norwich.
swindon are believed to be willing to accept around £700000 for the former chelsea marksmen.....

at least those cunts wont get their grubby paws on him

Would be a cracking front line, I'd defnately opt for Norwich out of those listed so far they seem to be the better equipped to make a crack at the Premiership and should have some cash with the parachutte payment from the Premiership.

Great to see Brighton priced out of a move!

definitley. And maybe Watford also.
Those 2 clubs will be fighting relegation not promotion.
I believe SSP would do excellent at either Norwich or Ipswich

That Ipswich offer looks nice. I'd rather he joined Ipswich or Norwich to be honest....

I can just see him playing for ipswich.... before any of the speculation came out i thought it would be reading or wigan, but they obviously are not interested.... so next one would of been ipswich.... i think it will be close to us

He and Ashton are a bit similar, i'd opt for Ipswich in his position.

Norwich would probably be able to pay more though, so that would be nice.

I remember reading somewhere a few months ago that the clause was 30%
