From the horses mouth on Sunday night. "I'm having my last ever night in Swindon, it's been fun"

Then he preceded to get his phone out to try and ring Paul Hartley. Strange.

I can't make my mind up if that's a good thing or not, although he's been superb for us i would like to see a more attacking midfielder,We dont score enough goals from midfield..

That would explain him trying to ring Paul Hartley... hmmm

Reckon he wouldve been superb next year, having settled in properly.

Shit news.

Is the City move another loan or permanent deal?

it's all speculation at the moment.

anything could happen. It would be foolish of us to not atleast bid for ferry and see what happens then. He has stated several times he wants to sign

Coppell came out and said he wouldn't be making any decisions on player until July when he has seen the current squad at close quarters. Ferry has stated regularly he would love to stay in the press... seems strange that he would suddenly backtrack. Hmmm

Would love to see him stay- but he is not irreplaceable.

Would like to see more goals from midfield next season.

Unfortunately, us remaining in league 1 makes it inevitable that we would struggle to hold onto our loanees- so will just have to unearth some new ones.

If he doesn't want to stay, he doesn't want to stay. Life moves on.

He has been good but the stand out problem for me this season has been not enough goals from midfield (Ward helped at the end) so i'd like Ferry in my squad but not as a first teamer. We need either somebody who can get goals and shoot from distance, or another destroyer and allow douglas to move further forward.

He is also too lightweight which is a problem.  He got pushed all around the Wembley pitch on Sat.

Doesn't change the fact that I would love him to sign, but it is a problem.

He's too lightweight, which is ironic as he always looks a bit chunky.
