Even worse is the fucking jobs worth do gooders doing speed checks with guns supplied by the Bone idle old bill.
Mentioned this before. Not condoning Speeding, but if you do get caught surely it can't stand? You could contest, as it's the device is used by a trained person or something? Don't they just send you a letter?

Like the fellas in Hilmarton? Haven't seen them for a while. Used to enjoy giving them a wave as I drove past.
They used to have a dummy in a fluorescent jacket in the village, I guess to slow traffic down.

Estate agents calling me at 9:30 to say they've got someone who wants to look at the flat today at 1 and getting pissed off when I say it's too short notice.

I got done by one of those camera's in Atworth coming back from Bath a few months ago. They sent me a letter informing me of my speeding offence, telling me my details have been logged and if I get caught again I will recieve points etc.

Sounds like you need to get a more local agent.

I would have thought if you got caught by a community speed trap then it can only be a civil offence so they can't endorse your license, in the same way as not displaying car tax is a civil not a criminal offence so can't therefore earn you points.

they need to give 24 hours notice if they want access. I wouldn't normally mind but they've been less than helpful for the last 2 years so am less than inclined to help them

Just got done myself, my first ever, doing 60 in a 50 on a nice clear dual carriageway, poxy unmarked van Going to do one of those driver awareness thingies, £105 quid instead of £60 and 3 points Regards The owner of the fastest Jazz in the world
