I'm offended by a lot of things and probably a bit of a SJW, but I always try and do something about it rather than just whining "wah, I'm offended" In the words of Stephen Fry: "It's now very common to hear people say, 'I'm rather offended by that.' As if that gives them certain rights. It's actually nothing more... than a whine. 'I find that offensive.' It has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected as a phrase. 'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what." More poignant pre leaving Twitter in a strop, I suppose, but never the less there is some truth in it. |

My (probably only the first) whine of the day is the fact there are people filming at my work today so I've got to wear a stupid t-shirt, but they've only got large ones and it is literally round my knees. And purple. I look like Barney the dinosaur after an eating disorder.

Got nabbed by Health and Safety this morning. Gave up smoking 5 months ago, been using the occasional puff on a small vape. Was in the office car park, when the office manager stormed out and told me to get into the smoking bay. I refused, and am now sat at home... Its now up for the "committee" next week to decide what the rules are. Offered to sit in my car at the far end of a 200 space car park to diffuse the situation. Nope. Smoking bay or off site. So I decided off site by 10 miles.. I'm struggling to get my head around it.
