Oh and Fallon has 18 goals in 121 Championship matches for Plymouth. That's not good enough. Mind you, I'm not a big fan of "the big man up front", I like forwards to score goals.

Rory Fallon for the last 4 seasons has played in the Championship, that makes him a Championship player.

What has happened with Nathan Thompson? A year ago there were (allegedly) Premier League teams looking at him but now he seems to be on his way out? He made the bench a few times this season but Wilson didn't seem keen on playing him but surely he'd be worth a new contract unless he has really gone down hill?

It's all gone quiet with Alex Henshall as well. There has to be a possibility he'll stay with us as he should be breaking in to the 1st team next season, though maybe a more likely option is he goes to a Premier League team for a decent fee and he is loaned straight back to us for a season or two. Weren't Man city rumoured to be interested in him?

I think there is a reason its all gone quiet about Henshall and we've suddenly got links with Man City....

Okay, well now he's in League One so that makes him a League One player Wink

He's better standard as that Ryan Giggs though because he's got World Cup credentials!

fallon is a league 1 player.a scorer of great goals, not a great goal scorer.

as for any of our players who think they are better than us.they can fuck off, as they rarely go onto better things.
only cuthbert is good enough to step up.

Cuthbert (along with Austin) is the only one I'd be genuinely gutted to lose. I think they'll be the ones that generate most interest.. Not worried about Charlie leaving, I don't see it happening at all. But Scotty on the otherhand... I am a little...

The BIG MAN up front got us 29 this season....we should be bustin a gut to keep Paynter and Austin together.

Leefer, I was referring to players like Emile Heskey who are forwards who don't score many goals.

If you compare Paynters and Pericards goal ratio before they came to Swindon they are pretty much identical.

I'm sure that if (when) Paynter does go, Pericard will be 1st choice striker along with Austin next season - unless hell freezes over and we get Ward for another season.
