what is the official oxford figures, I have heard various from 28,000 to 37,000 and this is AFTER the event. Every tom dick and harry seems to have their own figure, based on how many people were in so and so a pub.

There was a certain amount of double counting because when some of them said they'd brought their wife AND their sister, Wembley officials thought they were referring to two separate people

in a way dave they do, long term anyway. agree with what you say but it is also interesting in working out how many of the people of wiltshire care enough to spend a small fortune on a ticket.
plus there is a small amount of pride at stake

Yeah fair point. But i'll gain a lot more pride watching us in the championship next season than being able to say we took x thousand to wembely
