And who would John Terry get into bed with then?
He'd get the Foreign Affairs portfolio I'd imagine

Because i had a read of all the manifestos and the Tory one was best for me...thats not to say its the best for everyone else, thats why you get a choice Spy.

Leefer did you really read the manifestos?  I've been around  along time and this would be the first time I've come across such insanity.

Which bit of the Tory's did you like...even their own supporters mostly said they didn't understand it.

Maybe the bit about good citizens picking up on the detritus left by the public service cuts?

Hardline on scroungers....capping tax credits...course people should get tax credits but not if your on 50 grande a year....i earn about 25000 a year which usually means 50/60 hours a week....labour dont give me or my wife any extra....i am just hoping they cut the tax abit as labour help the poor which is good, but they also help the lazy and the criminals in this country...they dont help people who work there bollocks off.
Now i am not saying the tories will change things but for me personally i want a change...thats not to say i will critisize people on who they vote for..everyone has there OWN personal agendas.....if i had three young kids maybe i would vote Labour as they would probably be more beneficial to me..
As for the service cuts Reg i see what your saying but obviously alot more people like myself thaught it was time for change......seeing as the Tories won massively..if it wasnt for the Scottish vote which was all Labour then the Tories would have had a massive majority.....seems most of England was happy for a change not just me.

Most of the South of England, maybe. The North remembers what the last Tory government was like

Tories got 36.1% of the vote....not exactly a rousing endorsement for the kind of changes that the Tories usually bring about...and hopefully not enough for the full Thatcherite ticket.

The whole thing's been tremendously entertaining, much better than the actual election. I think we should do it all again in about 6 months or so

Can't believe there will be a formal coalition...still think a minority Tory government is the likely outcome.

Decent speech by Brown. Just been at Buckingham Palace to offer his resignation to the queen.

I'm inclined to agree now Brown has jumped.

Is it a confirmed libcon thingy yet?

Either way Cameron is a bit of a failure before he's started. The failure to win an overall majority after such a long tired and growingly unpopular labour government is pretty damning.

I think he's going to find himself in a pretty hard place. Either in a libcon coalition, or as a minority government, he's going to struggle to push through the more tory-ey tory tory-ness, which is going to leave some of his own party pretty figity.

I doubt we'll be waiting 4-5 years for the next election. Cameron will have to make a gamble for an overall majority sooner rather than later.

so regardless of whether it's a libcon coalition or a con minority government my vote was utterly useless.
