I said they should negotiate with the Council to have the multi-storey open for evening games - I am always running late and end up having to take my chance in a residents parking zone.

I didn't really put anything of note, although in hindsight would have requested that all musical instruments be smashed over the owners head, if bought to football.
Or perhaps they allow a non-safe standing-area, with free beer, where musical instruments are allowed, along with weaponry and anyone currently banned from football for a tendency to go all ashikodi in the face of music.

Fully agree, especially drums.

Safe standing isn't illegal, it's just not permitted in the top league if you get there. The FLA seem to have relaxed their view on needing to replace terracing in all grounds but I believe the way they stop new terracing is by witholding grant money that can be used in the development - it makes it a financial problem for a club because they know they will have to charge lower prices than seated stands and can't get the upfront money either.
The FLA seem unlikely to ever change their stance because the real reason behind it is to avoid hooliganism inside grounds every reappearing. They can't base the regulations on that, but they have all but admitted it in their responses to previous questions on the subject.

Spring Gardens is open until late, Brunel West is always open (and they tend to leave the barrier up at night so you can drive out free) and Wyvern is 24hr exit. Unless there is one you're on about which I have missed?

I was thinking of Spring Gardens - the sign says it closes at 9pm

Ralphy - just park in Tesco and walk down Shrivvy road to the DRS... 5 mins walk
I was informed they were clamping cars parked there for longer than a certain time.

And yes, Spring Gardens closes at 9pm. This is what I was talking about earlier in the thread.

Unless that's a new thing, I've been parking there for as long as I've owned a car (7 years or so), and never seen a clamp... And they'd have to buy a shitload of them!
