He was probably arrrested on suspicion of murder, not murder itself.

There is a difference between being arrested and being charged....I'm afraid I'm not familiar with all the details that clearly you have, JFW and others, being a long way away, but I didn't read anyone saying he had actually been charged with murder. Often someone will be arrested because allegations have been made, and that is a way of ensuring that the person arresetd has access to all the proper procedures and rights.

You're always arrested on suspicion of committing an offence. That's kind of the point of the whole trial malarkey

yes i have....but not well. Its a horrible thing, but there are usually complicated issues between the people involved, and complicated psychological issues involved with the person who commits the crime...and however awful the crime, and the terrible consequences for everyone, I would not go down the "Daily Mail" line against the vast majority of those who are convicted. Its very easy to condemn people (notwithstanding Arriba's experience).

I used to drink with the hell's angel's in the old bell. They had a few stories to tell but I don't know how many were true.
I also know a few dodgy people (Including coppers) in Pattaya, which is part of the reason that I moved back to Bangkok.
