What a depressing thought. 43 years in division 3.

Not really...we're a Div 3 club.

Darby looks like he is going to fit in nicely, he was up against lua lua who looked the part, greer made a cracking goaline clearence in the first half but should have scored with a header in the second half. They had the better of the first half we upped our game in the second.

Marshall used the ball very well, really frustrated brighton. Could someone tell me what all the injuries were as i havent a clue and what happened to paynter?

Ward was concussed.

Not as depressing as being a non-league club - now I wonder who I mean?

Historically yes. In my lifetime of 28 years, we've been a divison 4 side, up to division 3, to division 2, a year in division 1, back in divison 2 for a few seasons, back to divison 3, back up to division 2, after about 4 years back to division 3, down to division 4 for 1 season and now back in division 3!!

I like to think of us as a 'lower championship side'.

Ralphy your post suggests we've spent more time below that level. Your logic is very flawed.

Ward was concussed.

If he is proper concussed he won't be playing Tuesday. Can't risk a second whack on the noggin so soon.

I was sat near the front, the view was terrible - for all I know we could have played our best (or worst) game of the season. Darby looked pretty decent in the 1st half, not sure about the 2nd half as he was too far away.

Marshall was excellent in the 2nd half, and from what I could see, our mom by some distance. Went past their defenders with ease, held the ball well and was very strong physically. I've always thought he had potential and he finally delivered today. I can see him starting some games before the end of the season. He really was that good.

Thought we looked pretty good with Austin up front on his own.

Here they come. The Mark Marshall lovers will come crawling out from under the skirting with comments like this. Bless them Smiley

Dave, Don't google University of the West of England. It might really really irritate you.
