Church got a second yellow for running into the Reading fans at City....that IS bollocks.
Forster goads the fans and gets fuck all!!
His first yellow was while he was warming up as a sub, for dissent apparently! Can't recall a player being shown a card prior to coming on.

Don't know if I've seen it happen live. I've definitely seen subs get booked for celebrations etc before though, usually for entering the field of play without the referee's permission!

I don't remember seeing it happen before but it does happen, same for players getting cards after the final whistle.

I enjoyed the game.
Was very impressed with David Lucas, the defence must feel so confident with this guy in goal, shot stopping, reflexes and coming for crosses all excellent. And his kicking is decent as well which makes a change for a Town goalkeeper!!
Defencively, I thought Greer looked a little shaky in the second half. Left and Right backs are a problem, clearly as LFJ doesn''t seem to have the ability to concentrate. Sheehan has a great left peg but was clearly not confortable on the right.
Centre midfield is sorted. Douglas goes about his work quietly but very effectively. I like Ferry as well but its a shame he isn't just a touch taller so that he could challenge in the air when it gets scrappy in midfield. O'Brien showed glimpses but his control and touch are very heavy, however he is a whippet and put over some dangerous crosses. JPM was excellent, such a change in this guy.
Up front I thought Paynter looked hungry, he took players on and played some excellent passes, the one in the second half which he timed to perfection sending JPM in behind the defence springs to mind. Austin is full of energy, you would not know that he came from Non-League. Not just a finisher, wins his fair share of headers which he flicks on well and plays intelligently. Took his chance very well.
Brighton I thought were a decent side. They looked to play the ball out from the back and had Dickinson not been totally wasteful would have gone away with a point. Still a good 3 points and onto Charlton now!

I see Abdou got dubiously sent off for Millwall yesterday ... The cunt can have no complaints, the manner in which he got Douglas sent off back in october shows what goes around comes around Nope, Millwall have got that red card rescinded. Only difference between Abdou and Douglas challenges was that Abdou stayed on the floor rolling round like a prat, whereas the Charlton player got on with it.
