The paper yesterday said the cold spell was only going to be a 24 hour thing, with the "warmth" and rain returning this evening. SO if the game was to be called off, which I doubt it will, it would be more likely due to a waterlogged pitch than a frozen one.

i remember once being interviewed by radio wilts before a stockport game by some roving reporter, during the game he asked me if he could interview me afterwards and i agreed. stockport equalised with the last kick of the game and it was proper gutting, along comes the roving reporter with his live mic and rather stupidly asked me what i was going to do now, my reply live at tea time on radio wilts " go and find some stockport and kick the shit out of them" he had a look of pure horror on his face so i added "not really kids" |
