Yes
Anyone else think that Revell should go back to Southend. He had one cracking game but since has looked pretty shite.

No. Go an post on Thisis because that post sounded like one of those idiots. I think he's been pretty decent. He's offered us something different to Billy but they just can't play together. He's like a better Barry Corr for me. But of course our fans would rather have Corr...

We looked pretty decent when we went 442 for the last 15 minutes surely Wilson can see that Austin and Paynter is our best pairing, Hutchinson should just be sent back now and I can not make my mind up about Revell. It was also good to see Douglas back in the middle doing the simple things that Timlin struggles at.

I just have a real sinking feeling when we get pens. I've mentally packed up and gone home. I'd love to see our record over the last 10 shootouts to see if my defeatist attitude is justified or not.

I might go and nerdily check this out now.

It's 2 or 3 wins from the last 10. No more than that.

I fucking despair sometimes some of the comments on the Advertiser website are just plain laughable. Half those mongs posting clearly didn't go to the game tonight and some are even saying their running out of patience with Danny  Roll Eyes

I thought we did alright tonight. Decent game of footy and i though Douglas, Easton, JPM, Paynter & Cuthbert were all my pick of the bunch tonight.

Charlie showed some decent stuff when he came on and i have a feeling he'll play a big part in our team next season but for now he is doing well with the sub appearances

I like Revell but like already said he is too much in the mould of Paynter they just can't play off each other.

I guess i must be the only person who thought Hutchinson looked better tonight and at times was quite menacing.

Phil Smith did a decent job tonight and looks so much better under the new coach.

So, over the last 6, we've won just 2 and those were against Exeter and Aldershot.

9/10
Wolves 0-0 Lost 6-5 League Cup
Exeter 1-1 Won 4-3 Paintpot
8/9
Aldershot 2-2 Won 7-6 Paintpot
7/8
Barnet 1-1 Lost 0-2 FA Cup (this one was embarassing)
6/7
Brentford 2-2 Lost 4-3 League Cup
3/4
Leeds 2-2 Lost 4-3 League Cup

Tonight wasn't too bad for a tenner. Should of won the match in normal time though.

We still need a striker. Cunt that he is, Cureton is exactly the type of player we are desperate for.

Austen looks promising. I hope he builds on tonights performance but that we don't ruin him by asking him to do too much too soon.

Whoever decided to shut the town end for the last two games needs a swift kick in the bollocks (or cunt). Two matches with no fucking atmosphere must have an effect on the players, and the penalty comp tonight in front of an empty stand was a disgrace.

I really dont give a fuck about how much the club saved on police or stewarding with this wanky decision. If we'd gone through tonight the income would of exceded those costs - and some.

The Arkell's has to be open for hospitality etc, which is fine. Why the fuck didn't they just shut down the Don Rogers stand and fill up the Arkells and Town End though?

Ace as our new board have been, they need a bit of fucking nouse in the football world as well as general business accumen.  A hostile Town End may of been the difference tonight.

You're not the only one. I've been one of his biggest critics but thought he looked a different player tonight and our best striker until he went off. Not sure what it was, but he seemed to have more confidence.

Its the first time I've seen Austin play and I was pretty impressed. He won most, if not all, of the headers he went up for which was surprising as it didn't look like he had a chance with some of them. His touch on the ball was excellent as was his passing - the best I've seen from one of our strikers this season. He had probably our best chance with the header but it came to him a bit awkward and he couldn't get any power on it.

My only criticism is that he got pushed around a lot by their defenders, maybe he doesn't have the upper body strength yet or maybe he just needs to get used to playing at this level. Though that's not really a criticism, as its to be expected and I'm sure he'll get to grips with it.

Not sure he is ready to start yet but then I'm not sure he is any worse than the other options we've got.
