cheers guys, in regards to pauld comment, he likes/drinks whiskey, but the ones i buy him arent your run of the mill tesco jobbies, last one cost me 55 quid, i think he's actually scared to open it.
Ah, that makes sense. I do that too - "Oooh, that's too good to drink now, I'll save it for special" then get in one night wankered and scarf half the bottle, which really is a waste.
There was a place on the net doing novelty customised pub signs which we looked at for my Dad a few years' back. Seriously cheesy but my Dad would have loved it. We didn't go with it in the end because there's no way my Mum would have let him hang it anywhere.
Failing that, surely Reg as the resident old man of these parts should be able to suggest something suitable to the more senior inclined?
