Slipping fast apparently.

As DV and I pointed out we're now 3 points better off than last season at the same stage, losing in both cups back to back then did for MM.  Something similar given, if it included a defeat at basket case Tranmere, could do the same for Wilson.  Next Saturday is now massive, we need to avoid defeat at least.

on train on way home, just left stowmarket. First half they totally took the piss. Easily the best team we have played all season. Second half they sat on it, and we did fuck all. For me second half mcgovern was awful didnt want the ball. We really really miss douglas.

we do seem to have a good/nasty habbit of sacking/losing managers at this stage of the season. King, Wise, Sturrock, Malpas!!

I dont think Wilson will be sacked anytime soon but a few more defeats and the fans, or rather a section of fans will start to turn.

Get Douglas back and we'll improve, obviously.

However, what have Paynter and Easton done?  Why are we so easy to stop in the final, or is it that we just don't know how to deliver.

Both defeat at Tranmere and out of the JPT are not out of the question.

I think parts of the misery and pessimism in this thread annoy me more than the loss, which actually i'm fine with. I must remember to avoid match day threads - post loss.

I really hope you're not being totally sincere there!

But we are 3 points better off, with the same goal difference.  Wilson needs to turn this around quickly, or he could be heading for the exit.
Ha, ha, ha. More chance of you cracking a smile than Wilson getting sacked this season

Managers are never more than a few bad games from the sack...at the moment we don't look a side capable of winning too many games. Mr Fitton hasn't spent 7 mill, to have the piss taken out of him by the FA or Danny Wilson.
