I want a 50"+ TV soon, my 37" initially seemed massive but you soon get used to it and I think it's quite small now.

Go as big as you can afford. I have a 30 ft lounge and initially the 50 looked really big, but 3 months on even the wife is saying maybe i should have gone bigger!

May I suggest Richer Sounds.  they are experts.

 Eek

Richer Sounds have fuck all knowledge apart from knowing how to sell you a deal.

If you're on a budget and do your research then it's perfect, otherwise it's very easy to get suckered into buying crap.

TV's are all more or less the same to me.

Colour: Check.
Remote control: Check.

That's me done.

Yes

I like the idea of a nice tv, but it truth i've bought tat and not noticed the difference. Of course, stick it next to something posh, and it's obvious, but I don't have something posh to put it next to, so to me it's the same as any other.

I have a second TV, because secretly i'm well posh, and it's got a contrast ratio of 800:1 or 1:800 i don't know, but damn if i can tell the difference when viewed on it's own between that and my flash sister's 50" Pioneer. Other than the massive heat her's gives out of course. Wink
