Is Trundle still training with City? I take it he is due to being under contract?

Or is he sitting in the executive box at Swindon eating Balti pies?

I'm confused, apparently I'm....
1.) fat
2.) old and past it with better replacements available
3.) my mate looks like Andy Nicolas!

Hold on, you might be right!  Grin

1.) The shirt was brand new and will stretch in the wash, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!  Anyway, I can lose weight you can't get better looking!
2.) I gather you are talking about Trundle
3.) Yeah, quite a few people say that, and he's not a bad footie player either!

 Bye

Bristol City:
He turned up too fat for the preseason training and didn't play in any friendlies we will get that in the press and tell the world that we want to lower the wage bill as well.  He is too shit for the first team.

Swindon Town:
We'll offer an appropriate fee for a Div 1 player plus Div 1 wages.

Bristol City:
He's worth more than that, we think very highly of him.  He's a Championship player.

Swindon Town:
Had any other offers?

Bristol City:
Nah, but he would be a great acquisition.

Swindon Town:
We have made an offer, take it or leave it.

Bristol City:
The offer is not acceptable, he is a great player.

Swindon Town:
See ya.

They might have to keep hold of him after that chap they got on loan from Hearts busted his knee on his debut.

I have nothing against Trundle, the Slavetraders couldn't market a groupie at Rolling Stones concert.

Surely Fitton would have offered to meet them half way with a big sell on clause? That's his special move.

What are you on about? Gary Johnson hasn't done anything wrong, ever. It's all part of his masterplan... We're going to get desperate and pay the silly money they want for him, maybe more (and we'll be grateful for the honour of doing business with them!)

Wilson has said it is unlikely Trundle will be coming as we will not be increasing our offer for him

...and Wilson is correct.

I reckon they want something like £300,000 for him which would be ridiculous.

I see that Wilson has now gone public on this (see O/S), you would have thought that as City are stuck with having the pay the wages of the loan striker they got that got injured after 5 mins of his debut, they would be keen to get Trundle off the wage bill - even if they still have to pay part of his wages - as it would release funds to sign another striker that they want, surely they can come to an agreement to suit both clubs.

Wasn't this stated on Sky Sports last week what DW was saying?
