well we havent created anything all game, and the 2nd Gills goal shows that pace causes problems from a simple ball over the top
I'm not having a go at the change, just pointing out that bringing on a youngster who hasn't scored so far is not exactly a brilliant plan B is it! |

Ah well, We beat Tranmere 3-1 this time last year and we nearly got relegated and they narrowly missed out on playoffs. Based on that, Im still going to classify this game as a pre season friendly and forget all about it

the lack of a striker (or strikers) hasn't been the problem today though, sounds as if we're just not dealing with simple long balls over the top? |

Sounds like both to me. Poor defending, lack of creative ability to supply Paynter. Bit like we saw in the Plymouth friendly really. |
