Does anyone know if Pat Terry, who played for us late 60s, is still alive?

He was one helluva of a centre forward who rarely gets mentioned these days.

One of my early red heroes (and that was when the Don was emerging)

Think Pat passed away some years ago.

His wiki states that he died in 2007.

BBC sources in Yorks say Barnsley have had an offer for #bhafc Gordon Greer rejected. Unclear whether the club will make improved offer.

Apparently has 1 year left on his deal and wants a payrise ...

Why would anyone leave Brighton for Barnsley? I'm all for ambition but who are Barnsley kidding?

Exactly. As fans we always see transfers as black and white based on league tables. Footballers are people - family reasons, longer contracts, security, wanting to relocate - these things matter in footballers as much as they do to the rest of us.

I bloody loved Pat Terry, got him from Reading I think. Pat was the best header of a ball to wear the red and white and if I remember right scored a great hat trick against Bournemouth soon after signing.. He became a taxi driver when age got the better of him but must be retired now.
shaun taylor for me, anyone that would prefer to head the ball well its 2 inches off the floor and getting booked in the mean time for dangerous play. i remember that happening atleast once a season. his 2 headed goals against wovers one season stands out

Bit different though from scoring goals as your job - whereas OST could head the ball anywhere as long as it was away from the goal, Pat Terry's job was to get the ball in the onion bag.

Daddy has released Blair.

Whatever you do, don't expect more than 6 league goals from him...

Peter Noble from the 69 side was brilliant in the air and only 5ft 10 tall.

I think Mummy Sturrock is Blair's agent too. Paul wont be popular at home.
