Probably the best post i've seen on there for a long time , cant really argue with a word of it, and brings home how much trouble we are in.

Keepers.

Brezovan is a good keeper who should have been playing all season.
Smith has made school girl errors and should never play again.

Defence.

Jack Smtih done ok but nothing special.
Amankwahh is total rubbish and has been a disaster signging.
Casal has been a disaster signing.
Ifil lost all belief under malpas. An ok player in this league but needs help.
Aljofree is worst captain ever and not good enough.
Morrison is young , got potential but is only 17.
Kanyuka is bambi on ice, never good enough.

We need a central defender ASAP and a left back ASAP.

Midfield.

Peacock , gives his all but not a midfielder, not good enough.
Easton, great last year probably best we have, needs games.
Pook, a conference player, no quality at all.
Timlin, bad signing as doesnt influence games at all.
Mcgovern, to slow, runs around like a headless chicken.
Mcnamee, has quality needs better players around in to get best from him.
Marshall, a gamble that may never come off.

Really we need a new right winger and two more in the middle, one who can get hold of the game a bit and dictate play.

Strikers.

Cox is quality and if we lose him in January god help us.
Paynter, Slow, not good in the air, doesnt hold the ball up that well and doesnt score that many.
Corr, a better player than Paynter but sadly for him never fit.
Sturrock, on sat they said he was our best player. If he is one of our best players we really are in big trouble, a conference player.

I'd say alot of that was rubbish to be honest.

Brezovan deserved to be dropped he was shit
P Smith has made mistakes but then so has Brez, so I cant see how one should never play again and the other should have been playing all season

Ifil is better than an ok player for this league, when he is on form. I do agree with the part that he lost belief under Malpas
Aljofree, whilst not a good captain is certainly not the worse one we ever had. Step forward Sean O'fucking Hanlon. He was an even worse captain and player!

Timlin hasnt hit the ground running this season but was more than good enough in his two loan spells and was probably our best player pre-season. Like Easton the ability is there just lack of a run of games in the same position.
McGorvern is a headless chicken who isnt good enough yet McNamee is quality and needs better players around him. Both are decent enough wingers and both dont get enough service

Paynters lost form recently but no near as bad as people make out. Him and Cox are our best strike partnership and even though I wasnt there I dont think its any co-incidence that as soon as Paynter comes back into the team Cox scores again. In no way is Barry Corr a better player than him.
Sturrock is a good player maybe a bit too intelligent with the ball for our team

I think the original is valid, going by yours we should be top half, which we obviously aren't.

To be honest i disagree about Aljofree, Timlin, McGovern, Paynter and Sturrock. Not to say they're perfect players, just think assessment on them was somewhat harsh.

'Step forward Sean O'fucking Hanlon. He was an even worse captain and player!'

Find it difficult to see how you arrive at this. Is it because he joined Franchise.

He was a terrible player, surely you do not disagree? a silent captain and not a very good defender.

Brez IS a good keeper who was pilloried for his errors far more than Smith was.I still believe that if Brez had been given equal opportunities as Smith by Byrne we would have more points.
