Seems I've gotten to the point now where I've applied for so many jobs that when I get a phonecall or e-mail telling me I've not been shortlisted for an interview, I've no idea who's rejecting me, even when they tell me where they're from.

Good luck to all being negatively affected. It really is a tough time at the moment for most people in the country.
On a semi-related note, I have been warned at work that I might face disciplinary action. My crime? I (accidently, it was a typo) tried to claim 25 miles rather than 15 miles on my mileage form. At 40p per mile, I would have been fraudelently claiming £4. Not something I would want to do, but hardly a moat, duck house or phantom mortgage.
