yeah, as a result of a fuck up with my meds which led to a bit of a mental breakdown. i shouldn't have quit but i wasn't exactly thinking straight during that period of time. i doubt i'll ever hold down a job for a reasonable period of time. |

Fred, Dave Blackcurrant, Flash - really sorry to hear that.
I was out of work (contract) for three months from the end of January until mid May. When you contract you try and build up a reserve to cater for the lean times, but I have never been idle for that long before. It was getting very scary - as I have had big time shit in the past (company liquidation) - my credit rating is zilch and my mortgage is under a suspended repossession order I was at the point of thinking "fuck it, I'm packing it in, let the house go and rent etc".
Anyway...my phone rang and I am back in work and having done so I am getting more calls about other work every week.
What I am saying is it that it can look very bleak when it goes bad, but you have to be optimistic and if you are then things will be ok. I know this. You'll be fine.

Oh and Dave B - I can help you a bit with job opportunities if you want as we are in the same sector. I know of some SMS leads if that's what you want to keep doing. PM me.
