Hereford's Ronnie Radford. Great goal but his shirt was too small!

Just days before the FA Cup 1st Round when 'that goal' will doubtless be shown over and over again. Impeccable timing...

For anyone that's never seen it or not for a while at least.
Disturbing glimpse into early '70s fashion with the pitch invasion scenes.

A debate for another thread but when was the last time Town fans witnessed a 30 yarder or more that wasn't from a set piece?
Has the style of play in recent years killed off the shot from distance?

Darcy has tried a fair few in recent weeks, particularly against Newport's dodgy keeper.

'Hoddle is a doddle'. That's my favourite STFC goal, probably because it was one of my early memories of supporting Swindon. That shimmy to create the space and then the perfectly struck hit from distance. A thing of beauty.

Probably THE best goal I have seen scored at the CG was by centre back Marlon Broomes on loan from Blackburn against Birmingham City in 1997.

Probably a better finish than Kenny Strouds famous long ranger vs Everton.

If you havent seen it then watch this beautiful finish from all of 35 yards.

Its around 50 secs in...you expect it from Hoddle but not from a 6 foot 2 centre back!

Also from 1997 and from a CB on debut. Craig Taylor about 3.40 in.
The Vale opener was a good one as well.
