Was a nice guy as well. We were on a flight with him from Auckland to Wellington. As for size he took his and half my friends seat in first class. He was huge.

The word legend gets used far too freely these days, but Lomu was undoubtedly one of them. In my mind, he was key to making rugby such a widely popular sport.

40 is no age and the fact he was on the transplant list waiting for a donor is extremely sad.

Scott Weiland died last night, formerly of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. Sad as the guy was talented and a great showman, but his problems with drugs and alcohol were hardly a secret. I used to listen to STP a lot during my teenage years. RIP Scott!
