I did think of using the emoticon....thing about something like Woodpecker it's probably quite pleasant to drink if you don't want to get hammered....and there's nowt wrong with that.

BTW CS I wouldn't drink Blackthorn because of the Shitty connection..

I always buy my cider locally at Bridge (Farm East Chinnock, Yeovil, Somerset BA22 9EA
Tel: 01935 862387) between Crewkerne and Yeovil, proper cloudy stuff sold by the gallon, £4.50-£5 a gallon 7% and yummy too, 1 gallon is about an evenings worth of cider for me. Love it but it just doesnt touch me any more, I dont even get slightly pissed on 8 pints any more, I think I am immune to its effects now but I still love it.

But we are very lucky here in South Somerset if you like Cider as most farms sell it locally for less than £1 a pint on average.

Frosty Jacks.

Ah, golden memories of a West Country childhood. I was fair stunned the first time I found out this nectar was not available nationwide. The poor man's White Lightning.

Cheddar Valley is another good 'un, don't know where you'd get some online, mind. Or if you're after something lethal, try Natch.

Are you a fat bastard JJ? A gallon of scrumpy a night has got to be a few calories.

Ah right...when you said an evenings worth it sounded like your normal tipple . I'd say 2-3 pints was a normal evenings worth for me...then add  some for high days and holidays.
