I actually want to believe this but if its so clear cut , why has Byrne been given the green light to speak to loan players for Jan, when Calderwood will be in place this time next week ?!?!?

i disagree jan.he went onto better things after doing a fantastic job here.that didn't sour anything in my opinion
I know, I know, sour things, is a bit strong, I just wish he didn't go!! Would have been good for Colin to have been the first to captain one side in all four divisions. Instead, as you say, he had to be content with playing for Spurs, and ending up playing against Ronaldo in one of the world's biggest matches (WC opener).

It would sound more realistic if David Kerslake was mentioned as part of the package.
I know Forest fans would be happy to see CC go....he would probably have been sacked, without the win on Saturday....but teh stuff about doing one more game etc just doesn't ring true.

It does sound a bit odd. It's like he's caretaker manager following his own dismissal.

Footballinsider must own a bookies and has been spamming forums to get people to bet...?
Could be on to something there. It was only the other day it was a done deal on John Ward and the bookies stopped taking bets.

The VC odds went down to 7/1 and have now been closed!
Make of that what you will.
My £10 triggered their suspicious betting patterns software. Seriously, it's probably their PR machine in overdrive ready for tomorrows Adver.

It's obviously bullshit....a club like Forest always has a few fellas hanging around, who can step in for a spot of caretaking...when we got dicked 7-1 it was a pair of caretakers, one called Frank Barlow...can't remember t'other. Could be the bigest ever win by a caretaker.

McPharland was the other one I think. Pretty sure he went on to manage Notts County, or still is.

Answer me this
If I worked for Victor Chandler - Why would VC stop the betting now? Wouldnt they want to keep taking your money?
Also - Why did I never post a link to Victor Chandler? Hardly the first betting site you'd go to.
