Colin Calderwood to be new manager.

Heard it here first. Is currently finishing one last game whilst Forest appoint new manager as per his contract and will arrive with player/coach Breckin joining in January.

Get a tenner on it

If bookies are still taking bets get your money on it now

I had a cheeky tenner a couple of weeks ago at 20/1 after some info but now its concrete.

If you find anywhere taking bets let me know

If true, I hope to be having a "why did you let Calderwood go" postfest on the Forest fans website in 18 months time.

I would be slightly disappointed with the appointment but other than this post I'll keep it well hid.

There's a new clause in the covenant made by the Goddard Estate (in addition to the one that says the County Ground site can only ever be used for sporting/recreational purposes) that says our manager has to be Scottish.  I can't reveal my sauce, but can confirm that it is not Victor Chandler.

Macari, Gorman, Sturrock, Malpas, Calderwood (??) - surely too many to be coincidental.  I also understand that Jimmy (Scottish name if ever I heard one) Quinn's granny had a tartan rug and was partial to a glass of Glenfiddich.
