I guess I think those as all recently retired ex-pro names that are undoubtedly a high risk but at least get the fans buzzing in anticipation. I can see how this might be an attractive option to Fitton (though I'd worry if Speed didn't get an experienced man in with him)
Hockaday for me doesn't fall into that category. I judge him as just another coach who happened to play for Swindon. Maybe I am underestimating the "buzz" he would bring. But on his managerial/coaching recorfd I would be amazed if there wasn't someone more suitable out there.
That says, none of us know what happened during the interview process that lead us to seemingly Money and Hockaday. Maybe better options really aren't viable.
